Theoretics is a live hip-hop/electronica band from Seattle, WA. The band is comprised of Birch Pereira on Bass, Adam Gross on Drums, Cameron Peace on Guitar, Ben Kreulwich on Keyboard, and Art Brown on Saxophone, with additional electronics and effects from all members. From 2007 to 2013 the band was fronted by vocalists Mark Hoy and Chimaroke Abuachi. The current members of Theoretics have crafted a fresh sound for the band by making new music that spans a wide range of electronica and hip-hop styles.
They continue to be known for their energetic live shows and ability to blend programmed and live elements seamlessly during their performances. Theoretics has performed at large festivals throughout the Northwest, including Sasquatch, Bumbershoot, The Capitol Hill Block and the Photosynthesis Electronic Music Festival, as well as packed shows at venues like the Showbox at the Market, the Crocodile, and Neumos. The release of a new LP featuring collaborations with and the best MCs and vocalists from the area, is planned for early 2014.
They released the below track over a year which is unbelievable as a stand alone track but Steve Cobby has given a nice touch to it below the original. If only the original was the same length as the remix we'd be laughing
